Charity and Sponsorship

An important part in development of the Masshtab Company belongs to support of non-commercial projects and active social policy. The Company contributes to development and prosperity of the Leninskiy district not only by global, large-scale projects and plans. Significance of small steps unnoticeable at first sight is not less valuable. Masshtab patronizes a secondary school and a kindergarten in Kommunarka settlement. The Company assists the administration of the Desenovskiy and Sosenskiy villages.

Last year with the assistance of the company Kommunarka settlement was significantly improved: the road was reconstructed with the complex improvement of adjacent zone; the local linden park was restored. Opening of a hall of residence for the local police whose construction was financed by the Masshtab Company has taken place lately.

  

Linden Park

On May 17, 2007, inauguration of the linden park in Kommunarka settlement took place. The head of Administration of the Leninskiy Municipal District V.Y. Golubev, the management of the Masshtab Company, and local dwellers participated in the opening ceremony. During several months the Masshtab Company with the assistance of the Administration of the Leninskiy district performed reconstruction of this park. The park is the symbol of Kommunarka village; however it was abandoned for many years. Now you can see carefully laid paths, playgrounds, street lights and benches. It is only the beginning, the first contribution to development of this land. On realization of Project А101 all land of Kommunarka state farm will become modern and self-sufficient suburb with all necessary components for full-fledged and comfortable life.

  

Basketball Club “Khimki”

In 2007 the Masshtab Company has become the General Sponsor of the basketball club “Khimki”. “Khimki” is one of the leading basketball clubs of our country. It was established in 1997 and within several years was able to make its way to the elite of Russian basketball. In autumn of 2006 it was the first Russian club to go out on the field with the NBA representatives «Los Angeles Clippers». The basketball club “Khimki” being the Vice Champion of Russia in the season of 2005/06 participated in «NBA Europe Live Tour» tournament. In the season of 2006/07 the club became the bronze-winner of the Championship of Russia.

  

The Company’s plans include strengthening of its social position and further assistance to cultural, educational and sports organization of Russia.
